The Mox Lamma 500 is celebrating its 16th year of thrilling dragon boat racing and a vibrant festival atmosphere. The event attracts many club and corporate teams from the Asia region. The Mox Lamma 500 will be held on 5th May 2024 at Tai Wan To beach on Lamma Island. It promises exhilarating races, entertainment, and delicious food and beverages. The event will highlight dragon boat racing’s rich heritage and celebrate the diverse community participating and watching it.
The event is a Green Event with the official charities Plastic Free Seas and Women In Sports Empowered (WISE). It strives to reduce all forms of single-use waste and focuses on green waste management.
